Cookie Policy

What Measura stores on your device. On this website: nothing at all.

Effective 26 August 2026 · Last updated 16 August 2026

1The short version

This website sets no cookies and stores nothing on your device. There is no analytics, no advertising pixel, no session recording, no embedded video, no social widget and no font CDN. Nothing you do here is measured or sent anywhere, and no third party learns that you visited.

That is why you are not being asked to accept anything. A consent banner on a site that stores nothing would be asking permission for something that does not happen.

Signing in is different

The Measura dashboard is a separate application at a separate address. Once you sign in, it has to keep you signed in, and that requires storing something. Section 3 says exactly what.

2This website

Every public page of this site was loaded in a clean browser with all storage cleared beforehand, and the browser was then asked what it had been given. The answer, on every page, was nothing:

  • No cookies, first-party or third-party.
  • No localStorage, sessionStorage or IndexedDB entries.
  • No service worker.
  • No request to any origin other than this one. Typefaces are served from this site rather than from a font CDN, precisely so that loading a page does not disclose your IP address to a third party.

Our web host, Cloudflare, processes the network request that delivers each page and can see your IP address and browser user agent in doing so, as any host must in order to route a response back to you. That is infrastructure, not tracking: it sets no identifier of ours, and it is described in the privacy policy along with every other party we rely on.

3The Measura dashboard

The dashboard stores three things, all of them strictly necessary to provide the service you have asked for, and none of them used for advertising, profiling or measurement of any kind.

WhatKindWhyHow long
sb-…-auth-tokenCookieKeeps you signed in between page loads. Issued by Supabase, our authentication provider. Without it every navigation would sign you out.Until it expires or you sign out.
measura-themeLocal storageRemembers whether you chose the light or the dark appearance.Until you clear your browser storage.
measura.activeTeamIdLocal storageRemembers which workspace you were last looking at, so the dashboard opens where you left it.Until you clear your browser storage.

Before you sign in, the dashboard stores nothing either. This was measured the same way as the marketing site above.

Why none of this asks for consent

Consent is required for storage that is not strictly necessary for a service the user has actively requested. A sign-in token for a private dashboard you have chosen to log into, and two preferences you set yourself, are the textbook example of storage that is necessary. If we ever add anything that is not, we will ask first, and this page will say so before we do.

4Controlling what is stored

Because this site stores nothing, there is nothing here to opt out of. In the dashboard you can clear the two preferences at any time through your browser’s site-data controls, and signing out removes the authentication cookie. Blocking the authentication cookie entirely will prevent you from staying signed in, which is the one thing it does.

Browsers also offer global controls, and we do not attempt to defeat them. We do not use device fingerprinting, cookie respawning, local shared objects, or any other technique whose purpose is to survive a user clearing their storage.

5If this changes

Adding analytics, an embedded video, a chat widget, a social button or an advertising pixel would all change the answers above. If that happens, this page is updated before the change ships, and anything that is not strictly necessary will be asked for rather than assumed.
