Refund Policy

When we refund a payment, how to ask, and how long it takes.

Effective 26 August 2026 · Last updated 16 August 2026

1The short version

The Free plan costs nothing, so there is nothing to refund. Paid plans are arranged with us directly and invoiced; we do not hold your card and nothing is charged automatically. If you paid and you are not getting what you expected, write to us and we will sort it out.

No card is ever taken on this site

Measura has no checkout. There is no payment processor connected to the product, no card details are collected or stored by us, and no recurring charge can be started without an invoice you have seen. A policy is still needed for the invoices that do get paid, which is what the rest of this page is.

2How paying for Measura works

Choosing a paid plan in the product opens an email to us naming the plan you want. We agree the terms, issue an invoice, and enable the plan on your account. Nothing is taken from you before that exchange, and there is no stored payment method to charge afterwards.

The Free plan is genuinely free. It is not a trial that converts, it has no card attached, and it cannot generate a charge. If your usage exceeds its limits, collection stops until the next period or until you upgrade - we do not bill you for the overage and then ask you to pay it.

3When we refund

Your first payment

If you are dissatisfied with Measura for any reason, ask within 14 days of your first invoice being paid and we will refund it in full. You do not need to justify the request.

Cancelling part-way through a term

  • Annual plans. Cancel mid-term and we refund the unused whole months, pro rata from the end of the month in which you cancel.
  • Monthly plans. The current month runs to its end and is not refunded pro rata. Your plan simply does not renew.

Our mistakes

If you were invoiced for the wrong plan, invoiced twice, or charged after cancelling, that is our error and it is refunded in full regardless of any window above. The same applies if a paid feature was unavailable for a sustained period because of a failure on our side.

What is not refunded

  • Periods you used the service normally and then changed your mind about after the window above, other than the pro-rata rules already stated.
  • Accounts closed by us for a serious breach of the terms of service, such as using the platform to process data you have no right to process.

4How to ask, and how long it takes

Email hello@measura.dev from an address on the account, tell us which invoice and what happened. There is no form and no ticket queue to navigate.

We aim to answer within two business days and to return approved refunds within 10 business days, by the same route the payment arrived. How quickly it then appears is your bank’s business rather than ours.

Cancelling is not the same as deleting

A refund ends the billing relationship. If you also want your data removed, close the account in the dashboard: that stops collection immediately and permanently deletes everything after 30 days, which is set out in the privacy policy. We keep a minimal accounting record of which plan you held, because company law requires it.

5Your statutory rights

This policy sits on top of the law, not in place of it. Nothing here removes a right you have under the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, or under the consumer protection law of the country you are in if that law applies to you. Where the two differ, whichever gives you more takes precedence.

Measura is sold to businesses rather than to consumers, so the consumer cancellation regimes in the UK and the EEA will usually not apply. Where they do, they apply in full.
